General Boss Fighting Strategies

Main vs. Optional Bosses

After defeating a boss, the text below the victory symbol will indicate whether it was a “Shield of Causality” (main story boss) or a “Sankhara Wuchang” (optional boss).

Utilize NPC Summons

For certain challenging encounters, you can summon NPCs (if their questline has been followed) to aid you in battle. They can draw aggro and provide valuable support.

Embrace Full Madness

Fighting with a full Madness meter significantly increases your damage output, but also the damage you take. This high-risk, high-reward strategy is very effective if you’ve invested in skills that grant buffs at full Madness.

• Prepare Before Entering: Always consume buff-granting items before you step through the boss fog gate.
• Exploit Weaknesses: Use Bone Needles that target a boss’s elemental or status weakness via the Temperance system.

Currently, there is no way to replay boss fights within the same playthrough in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. It is speculated that a New Game Plus (NG+) mode, if added in the future, might allow for rematches.
