Tang Palace Maid Boss Guide

The Tang Palace Maid is an optional boss in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. This guide covers her weaknesses, locations, combat strategies, and the rewards you’ll receive for defeating her in both of her appearances.

The Tang Palace Maid is classified as a Medium Enemy. Currently, specific damage weaknesses are still being determined.

The key to victory is to strike from behind after she attacks.

Most of the Tang Palace Maid’s attacks are telegraphed by a magenta-colored trail from her weapon, making them easier to anticipate. Dodge her incoming attacks and quickly reposition yourself behind her. Once in position, use a light or heavy attack to break her poise. This will leave her vulnerable to a powerful Obliterate strike.

You will encounter the Tang Palace Maid at two different points in the game.

Your first battle with the Tang Palace Maid takes place inside a cave in the Buddha Cliffs area.

  1. Navigate to the Buddha Cliffs and climb to the top of the scaffoldings until you reach a shrine.
  2. From the shrine, head down the nearby ladder and enter the cave.
  3. Proceed deeper into the cave to find the boss area. You can find a Budding Red Mercury to your right just before you descend to the boss arena.

You will face a more aggressive version of the Tang Palace Maid later in the Tang Emperor’s Palace.

Be prepared, as entering the main building will immediately trigger the boss fight. Ensure your health is replenished and you are fully equipped before heading inside.
