The main story of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is divided into five chapters.


Afflicted by the Feathering illness, Bai Wuchang awakens in a cave near the Reverent Temple with her memories lost. She is urged to travel to the Tang Emperor’s Palace for clues about her missing sister, Bai Yu.

After the encounter with Commander Honglan, Wuchang recovers at the Reverent Temple. She must now pursue the commander to the cold region of Cloudspire to reclaim a stolen relic and continue the search for Bai Yu.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has 5 main chapters. The story progression is mostly linear, but many areas are interconnected, which encourages exploration. Access to some zones may require completing specific chapters.

How Long to Beat Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?

The estimated time to beat the game depends on your playstyle:

  • Main Story Only: Approximately 30 hours or less. Focusing only on the main objectives will get you to the end credits the fastest.
  • 100% Completion: Approximately 45 hours or more. This includes completing all NPC questlines, defeating all optional bosses, and finding all hidden loot. The game’s soulslike difficulty can increase this playtime significantly.

Veteran soulslike players may finish the game faster due to familiarity with genre mechanics, boss patterns, and exploration shortcuts.
